We’ve got news to share that engaged couples in Philly are going to go crazy about. The Loews Philadelphia Hotel has officially announced that it will be giving away a wedding in 2015! You read that right, they are giving the gift of a wedding to a deserving couple who has shown their love to the City of Brotherly Love or the surrounding counties by giving their time or making a change in the community.
“We wanted to give something back to a couple who gives to their community,” said Amanda Congar, Director of Catering, “that is why we decided that a wedding at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel in 2015 would be the ultimate reward for helping to make the Philadelphia region a better place.”
Couples that volunteer in or around Philadelphia to help children, elderly, homeless or simply to better the neighborhoods are eligible to enter to win a wedding in 2015 valued at $20,000 at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel.
Jill Magerman Life Cycle Celebrant/Wedding Officiant will offer a customized wedding ceremony and the officiating of the ceremony. She will work closely with the couple to get to know them and will then write their “love story” and include it in a ceremony that is full of rituals, customs, and any readings that they want included. It also includes an advance meeting and a questionnaire to help create a one-of-a-kind ceremony.
Carl Alan Floral Designs Ltd. will provide up to $2,000 of flowers. The prize package also includes a bridal gown of their choice valued up to $4,000 at Lovely Bride Philly. The couple will receive bridal hair and makeup valued at $450 from the Andre Richard Salon, including a bridal updo and makeup application and “A Groom the Groom” package that includes beard care, trim and all the fixings for the groom.
The winning bride will also receive one full set of luxurious lash extensions by Deneen Marcel and a brow wax to complete the look, valued at $400, and a full service air brush tan and diamond dusting from Baked Sunless Tanning valued at $225. In addition, the couple and their guests will be entertained by the legendary Eddie Bruce.
The winning couple will also receive one hour of life coaching with Positive Psychology Expert Pax Tandon to help them on the road to a lifelong love affair. And, to make their event something they will always remember a video by First Floor Films and photos by Jennifer Childress Photography will be provided.
To enter, the couple needs to describe in 500 words or less what they have done to make the Philadelphia region a better place. Entries should be emailed to jgordon@loewshotels.com and the winning couple will be notified on April 3, 2015. Only one entry per couple is permitted and the entries must be received by midnight on March 13, 2015. The winning couple will be selected by a panel of wedding experts and will be notified by email.
