Summer Camp at the Franklin Institute is a summer of educational FUN for children in grades Pre-K – 8. Each camp day includes hands-on science activities and workshops, museum exploration, live science shows and demonstrations, a snack, a break for lunch, and time for outdoor play. Summer Sea Camp, Children ages 6—12:

Get ready for a summer of aquatic fun! Through field trips, hands on activities, crafts, games, a 4D Theatre Show, up-close animal encounters, as well as behind the scenes and exhibit tours at Adventure Aquarium, your child will have a summer experience they won’t soon forget!

Junior Marine Biologists, Children ages 13-16:Sea Camp

July 22—August 3, 2013

Junior Marine Biologist Camp is a unique, hands-on, intensive experience for science-minded teens. Campers will learn about the inner workings of the aquarium through behind the scenes tours, meet the exotic animals in our education collection close-up, and experience ecology through interactive demonstrations and activities. We’ll also discuss careers in biology and environmental science and hone our observation skills on trips into the field to explore the diversity of New Jersey wildlife. Camp culminates in an overnight (August 2nd to August 3rd) at Adventure Aquarium.
